Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
Tall grasses dominate the foreground, leading up to an abandoned building in the distance under a clear sky. Two rusted barrels are partially buried in the ground, adding to the desolate atmosphere. An abandoned farm in eastern Colorado carries a distinct aura of desolation, shaped by the harsh plains environment. Imagine a flat, expansive landscape with rolling prairie grasses stretching to the horizon, punctuated by scattered tumbleweeds and dry, cracked earth. The farm buildings, weathered and decaying, are often made of wood and corrugated metal, bleached and splintered by years of exposure to the sun, wind, and snow.
A main farmhouse, its windows shattered or boarded up, might lean precariously under the weight of neglect. The roof could be partially collapsed, with rusty nails and shingles strewn nearby. Inside, peeling wallpaper, sagging floorboards, and remnants of furniture evoke a sense of a life left behind.

About Robert Niemeier
My love affair with photography began in the 1980s when I won a Minolta film camera in a contest, and from that moment, I was hooked. Life led me through a busy medical equipment sales and physical therapy career, so time for creative pursuits was limited. Still, I captured the world whenever I traveled, preserving memories in images. Along the way, I discovered the thrill of disc dog events with my dog, Stella, adding a unique twist to my life, and later, with newfound freedom in retirement, I have thrown myself fully (some might say obsessively!) into both photography and competing with my new dog, Skylar.
