Colorado - Polar Plunge 2024 metal print by Robert Niemeier.   Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. My love affair with photography began in the 1980s when I won a Minolta film camera in a contest, and from that moment, I was hooked. Life led me through a busy medical equipment sales and physical therapy career, so time for creative pursuits was limited. Still, I captured the world whenever I traveled, preserving memories in images. Along the way, I discovered the thrill of disc dog events with my dog, Stella, adding a unique twist to my life, and later, with newfound freedom in retirement, I have thrown myself fully (some might say obsessively!) into both photography and competing with my new dog, Skylar.
