Two young yearling deer stand quietly in a vast, snow-covered field. Their soft, tawny coats are lightly dusted with snowflakes, providing a subtle contrast against the bright white landscape. Each deer lowers its head to nibble on the sparse vegetation peeking through the snow—brown grasses and a few stubborn shoots resilient against the cold.
Their large, dark eyes are alert, scanning the surroundings for any sign of danger, while their slender legs shift delicately to avoid sinking too deeply into the snow. About Robert Niemeier
My love affair with photography began in the 1980s when I won a Minolta film camera in a contest, and from that moment, I was hooked. Life led me through a busy medical equipment sales and physical therapy career, so time for creative pursuits was limited. Still, I captured the world whenever I traveled, preserving memories in images. Along the way, I discovered the thrill of disc dog events with my dog, Stella, adding a unique twist to my life, and later, with newfound freedom in retirement, I have thrown myself fully (some might say obsessively!) into both photography and competing with my new dog, Skylar.
